Ready-made combining the image of Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur as friends with the image of the Capitoline Wolf with brothers Remus and Romulus. Five different silkscreened dust jackets surround this small hardcover zine, which cites “Graphics and Book Art, Book and Typography” (1994: Editions Allia) from the famous German master typesetter Jan Tschichold. The reader can choose the jacket according to his taste while the original text of Tschichold is simply copied in its entirety and in a reinterpreted ironical typographical form. This project deals with the idea of “artistic vanity” and the “ambition of the graphic designer”.
Spreads commissioned by Pica Magazine for their 3rd edition on the theme of Process.
